What do I do if I’m setting up my Movband 3 for the first time and I’m not prompted to register?
After connecting the Movband 3 to your computer and downloading the sync software, the account registration page should load in your web browser. If you are not prompted to create an account, you’ll want to check a few things:
- Is the Movband 3 plugged in correctly, with the 4 gold pins of the USB charging cord snapped into the back cavity of the Movband 3? Try disconnecting and reconnecting the device a couple of times to ensure a good connection.
- Do you see the Movable symbol (the blue arrow) in your computer’s menu bar or tray, located near the clock? If so, click on the icon and select “My Account.” If not, locate and launch the Movband program on your computer, often found in Programs or Applications. Disconnect and reconnect the device once more, and the registration page should load in your web browser.
- Make sure you’ve set the Dashboard to launch automatically when the device is connected to your computer. Do this by clicking on the Movable symbol in the menu bar or tray, and checking “Open Dashboard After Sync” (Mac) or Settings > “Open Dashboard After Sync” (PC).
