I received an error saying, “No Device Detected,” what should I do?

Movband 2 & 3: We have seen with some Windows 8 & Windows 10 operating systems that they are not compatible with our Movband Sync software and/or our Movbands.  If you receive “No Device Detected” error message, there's a few things you can try. 

A. Restart the software
1. Completely close out of the software by right clicking on the Movband arrow icon and selecting

2. Keep your Movband plugged into the computer 
3. Re-open the software by clicking the Movband arrow icon. 

B. Restart your computer
1. Keep your Movband plugged into your computer & restart the computer. 
2. Once your computer is booted up, please make sure that Movband Sync Software is reopened.
3. You should then be prompted to register and/or sync. 

C. Compatibility Mode
1. Right click on the desktop icon for the Movband
2. Go to Properties
3. Click on the Compatibility tab
4. Check off the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for..." Select Windows 7 from the drop down menu. 
6. Click Apply then OK to close
The next time you run the Movband Sync software program, it should run as if you have a Windows 7 operating system. 

D. Google Chrome Web Application
1. We have a Google Chrome web application for Chrome browsers. Be sure to install the Google Chrome web browser on your computer. 
2. Open your Chrome web browser. 
3. You can get to our app directly here in the Chrome Web Store.
4. Click on the blue "Add to Chrome" button next to the Movband Sync app in the search results.
5. Click "Add App" in the dialog box that appears.
6. A new tab will open in your Chrome browser to indicate that the app has been added to your Chrome apps.
7. Launch the app by clicking on the Apps icon in your Chrome browser and then clicking on the Movband icon in your list of Chrome apps.
8. Once the application has launched, connect your Movband to your computer to register or perform a sync.  

Movband 4: No applicable with Movband 4. Movband 4 only utilizes the mobile app.
